Sunil leads the vision and direction at Nuage Networks. Sunil brings over fifteen years of experience in the communications and networking industry, including his former role as VP of business development for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), as well as VP of global product management for Alcatel Lucent’s IP Division.
Sunil gained expertise in the networking startup space in his time at TiMetra Networks, where he led product management and standardization. And before that, he held a variety of product management and consulting engineering management roles with Bay and Nortel Networks in New York and Santa Clara.
Sunil has co-authored and contributed to multiple IETF drafts. He is also a regular speaker at industry events and conferences. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in CIS.
Having joined Nuage Networks in 2011, Suresh brings more than fifteen years of experience in networking software development, team building, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality software. Today, he leads the software effort for the Nuage Networks Virtualized Services Controller.
Suresh’s experience includes extensive protocol development, having developed IP routing and multicast protocols from scratch and deploying them in large ISPs. Suresh was part of the original TiMetra team before becoming part of Alcatel Lucent as Principal Engineering. He then took a role as Director of Engineering at Juniper where he worked on their QFabric product. Earlier in his career, Suresh worked in software engineering at Shasta Networks (Nortel acquired) as well as Fore Systems (Marconi, Ericsson acquired).
He earned a master’s in computer engineering from Syracuse University.
Saurabh Sandhir leads the Product Management team at Nuage Networks. Saurabh brings over 16 years of experience leading cross-functional engineering, product management and marketing teams focussed on networking software products. Most recently, Saurabh was Head of Technology Strategy, CTO office at Ericsson. Prior to his role at Ericsson, Saurabh held a variety of leadership roles during his 13 year tenure at Juniper Networks. He was the head of the NFV platform product line for both engineering and product management functions. Saurabh also headed the Network Programmability (Junos SDK) product line at Juniper and the development of the industry’s first network API toolkit for developers. This group was also instrumental in defining the marketing blueprint for the introduction of software products in a thus so far hardware centric industry. Saurabh played key roles in building Juniper’s SDN partner and channel programs and defining the SDN architecture/strategy leading to the acquisition of Contrail Systems.
Saurabh has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, a Masters in Computer Science from Purdue University and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.
Lindsay currently leads the global marketing team for Nuage Networks from Nokia. He is responsible for all marketing and communications activities, including strategy, campaigns and content as well as co-marketing with Service Providers delivering SD-WAN solutions using Nuage Networks products and technology. Lindsay has been based in Silicon Valley for the past 20 years, leading product marketing for Nortel’s Enterprise Switching business, marketing at start-up TiMetra Networks, marketing at Alcatel’s IP Division, and product marketing for the Fixed, Wireless, IP/Optical and Software/Services businesses of Alcatel-Lucent. He began his career in the UK in various roles spanning network support, technical consulting and pre-sales and holds an HND in Electronics from City of Bath Technical College in England.
Mike Walker heads up the Business Development team at Nuage Networks. Mike brings a passion for service excellence and growth, with over 25 years in the IT and Telecom Services industries. Most recently Mike led the Enterprise Service Management team at TELUS. Utilizing his experience in customer service and customer delivery, his team developed and rolled out a national customer experience management program, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and growth. As well, his teams were directly accountable for the implementation of the largest and most complex outsourcing contracts nationally. Prior to his role at TELUS, Mike spent 7 years with EDS where he was responsible for the revitalization of the North American Web-Hosting and Enterprise Storage service lines, along with leading Service Management for eastern Canada.
Mike is based on Ottawa, Canada, and has one daughter attending the University of Guelph
