BT is to invest more and integrate new technologies to its network services to better enable its customers’ digital transformation journeys to cloud-based IT consumption models.
These services will leverage BT’s existing IP and Ethernet VAN offering and will reinforce its network function virtualisation (NFV) and software-defined networks (SDN) ability to be “the leading global cloud services integrator for its multinational customers”, meeting their connectivity needs. BT has also selected Nuage Networks from Nokia to contribute technology for its future software-defined WAN (SD-WAN) service.
