Nokia’s SDN venture Nuage Networks is celebrating a deal win with Spanish multinational operator Telefónica, to help it provide SD-WAN services to global enterprise customers.
SD-WAN is a relatively hot topic these days, with Cisco recently seeing fit to fork out $610 billion to acquire SD-WAN specialist Viptela. Telefónica apparently wants to offer its enterprise customers a creator ability to order and customise communications services through a self-service portal, which this sort of thing facilitates.
