There was a time when IBM was thought to be unassailable with its proprietary hardware and software lock-in strategy, so the likes of Cisco and VMware should take note, if one is to acknowledge the words of Nuage Networks Ecosystem Program Director, Amir Sharif.
In French nuage means cloud and that’s the market Alcatel-Lucent spinoff Nuage is playing in with it’s SDN overlay technology, which according to Sharif, “works on any hypervisor or any cloud platform.”
