As a member of the Intel® Network Builders ecosystem, Nuage Networks has contributed to the acceleration of network transformation by working closely with Intel and their ecosystem. Based on these contributions, Nuage Networks has been recognized as a Leaders Board Partner company.
In particular, Nuage Networks has worked to advance the performance of software-based virtual switches in the form of the virtualized network services gateway (NSG-v), accelerated virtual routing and switching (AVRS) and the NSG-X600 series uCPE based on 2nd generation Intel® Xeon® Gold 5218 processor and Intel®QuickAssist Technology (Intel® QAT).
As shown in the drawing below AVRS, NSG-v, and NSG-x600 extend across:
- the Telco Cloud data center network providing data center automation for the NFVi
- the Enterprise WAN providing SD-WAN network automation
- the major public clouds, effectively extending network governance and automation into the cloud
These products participate in the automated networking fabric that empower Communications Service Providers (CSPs) worldwide to offer software-defined networks in virtualized environments. By optimizing Nuage Networks’ products on Intel’s latest platforms and ingredients, while also leveraging features such as Intel® Speed Select technology, applications can run at elevated clock speeds while balancing caching resources to more effectively service other applications on the same host.
This partnership ensures that Enterprise and Telco Cloud applications achieve the networking and throughput performance needed to meet and exceed SLA requirements. Nuage Networks is excited to partner with Intel to drive innovation and shape the future of network transformation.
