Virtualized Services Platform Honored for Innovation in Software-Defined Networking
Mountain View, CA, April 17, 2014 — Nuage Networks announced today that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has named its Virtualized Services Platform (VSP) as a 2014 Excellence in SDN Award winner presented by TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Magazine and SDN Zone.
“With the ever growing adoption of software-defined networking, we’re honored to be named a winner for the Excellence in SDN Award,” said Sunil Khandekar, CEO of Nuage Networks. “It’s always been our mission at Nuage Networks to empower our customers to finally deliver on the true promise of the cloud and it’s exciting to see this become a reality.”
The Virtualized Services Platform lays the foundation for an open and dynamically controlled datacenter network fabric to accelerate application programmability, facilitate unconstrained mobility, and maximize compute efficiency for cloud service providers, webscale operators and leading tech enterprises across the globe. The VSP eliminates the constraints that have held back the responsiveness and efficiency of the datacenter network.
“Recognizing leaders advancing SDN technologies, TMC is proud to announce Nuage Networks as a recipient of the annual Excellence in SDN Award,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC. “The Virtualized Services Platform has demonstrated innovation and will help shape the face of the quickly evolving industry. It is our pleasure to honor Nuage Networks for their inspiring work.”
SDN architecture has already had a profound impact on the IT and Telecom industries and, as this technology continues to grow in popularity, the Excellence in SDN Awards recognizes the companies that are leading the way in SDN architecture and applications.
Winners of the Excellence in SDN Award are published in the April 2014 issue of the SDN Zone publication.
