Mountain View, CA, October 7,2014 – Nuage Networks, the Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) venture focused on software-defined networking (SDN) solutions, today announced that OVH, the number one hosting provider in Europe, has selected the Nuage SDN Virtualized Services Platform (VSP) for deployment within and across its datacenters in order to enable dedicated cloud services for their customers.

OVH chose to implement the Nuage Networks VSP to deliver an “OpenStack as a Service” offering, through which customers can access dedicated servers in the OVH Private Cloud Computing infrastructure while leveraging OpenStack to define both network and datacenter resources for a better performing, more programmable, and operationally efficient cloud environment.
