Nuage Networks Introduces Virtualized Services Platform (VSP) Integration Partner Program to Provide Greater Value to Customers

OpenStack Summit, Barcelona, Spain (Booth #C32) – October 26, 2016 – Nuage Networks, the Nokia venture focused on software-defined networking (SDN) solutions, today introduced the Nuage Networks VSP Integration Partner (VIP) Program, a three-tiered program designed to provide maximum value to customers of Nuage Networks and its partners. Also today, Nuage Networks announced that 8 new partners have joined the program.

The Nuage Networks VIP Program enhances the Nuage Networks Partner Program by introducing a more formal structure that provides partners with greater flexibility. By differentiating participation and benefits for qualified technology partners, the program is designed to provide the right level of sales and marketing, development, service and support engagement for partners. The ultimate goal of the program is to enable joint customers of Nuage Networks and its partners to more quickly and confidently deploy their cloud infrastructure, with minimal need for additional investment.

The Nuage Networks VIP Program also provides access to Nuage Networks eXperience (Nuage X), a ground-breaking environment to facilitate continuous integration and development for DevOps.  Nuage X was announced today, and product demonstrations are being held on Booth #C32.

“A tiered structure enables companies at any stage of maturity to bring to market offerings for enterprises and cloud service providers while reducing the risk, cost and complexity of implementing, integrating and maintaining advanced networking capabilities in support of cloud applications,” said Sunil Khandekar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Nuage Networks from Nokia.

New partners announced today include: Ciena, CA Inc., Amdocs, Intel, Netronome, Radware, Checkpoint, and Docker.  These new members, combined with the members of the former Nuage Networks Partner Program, such as RedHat, HP, F5, Palo Alto Networks, Citrix, Mellanox and Fortinet, bring the total number of participating companies to 36.

Participation in the Nuage Networks VIP Program is available at three levels: Access, Preferred and Strategic. The Access tier is designed for companies interested in a basic technology relationship with Nuage Networks. The Preferred tier is for partners wishing to develop joint solutions that require training, technical and sales support and co-marketing activities. The Strategic tier, available only by invitation, is designed for Nuage Networks partners interested in developing solutions with the highest level of access and engagement, including executive support, across different teams. Nuage Networks today has partners in five categories: Management & OrchestrationSecurityNetworkingApplications DeliveryPlatform & Compute and Containers.

Fortinet
“Software-Defined Networking (SDN) is starting to have a profound impact as vendors are hitting the market with virtual and physical programmable switches, network controllers and orchestration tools. Network security, as a fundamental layer of IT, needs to integrate and interwork with these SDN environments to become “Software-Defined” as well. As a Nuage Networks VSP integration partner, Fortinet and Nuage Networks take an integrated approach to orchestrating Intrusion Prevention, Next-Generation Firewall, and advanced Layer-7 security to provide holistic and responsive security to highly fluid data center environments. Services offered by the Nuage Network such as Nuage X are a good example of their commitment to us as a partner and the broader developer community.”
